That is smokin' cool! Curious... why 4 holes on each side vs 2, round vs elongated... any particular reason for this particular porting configuration?

Wow, that's just an insanely sharp look.

Looks great but I wonder if there is enough barrel to build up enough pressure to completely cycle the slide, especially with the added weight of the sight.
If not. A lighter recoil spring would fix that and help it shoot flatter still

Will be interested to know the resulting effects of reaquisition of target and effect on accuracy.

Gotta give the customer what he wants.

Looks interesting, if you hear will you please let it be known. Thanks.

At least you didn’t have the slide to contend with. Looks good.
I was curious about cycling as well but the lighter spring makes perfect sense.

I have a factory ported Springfield 1911 v12. Holes in the barrel, blowing through slots in the side. It is kind of fun to see the 12 jets of fire coming out of the top when shooting hot loads in low light. I assume that with the higher pressure 9mm rounds there will be some high velocity fire to see.

The down side is that lead and bullet lube gets on the top of my hand and top of my forearm when shooting cast lead bullets.

I run a solid barrel in mine most of the time, pretty easy to have a spare fitted barrel for a 92 or a 1911. Something different in the collection is fun.
