Wow, 1000 seems like a lot? I wonder if there is number manipulation with this figure also?

I've had two older neighbors die recently. One of them a week after getting the shot. Their death was not unexpected though. They were older, but would not be considered healthy.
Ironically it's the same problem as "covid deaths". What counts as a "covid death"? Does an 80-year-old in hospice with lung cancer dying after a positive test count? Does a heart attack count?

Of course the CDC insists "vaccines are safe and effective" and dismisses all 1,000 of the deaths as coincidental passings unrelated to the virus...how very ironic.

Gtown-ish

There have been just under 1,000 vaccine deaths so far, a third of which occurred within 48 hours. Lots of very young and healthy people with virtually zero risk from covid itself.
More accurately, there have been just under 1000 deaths reported in the VAERS system. Just because it's reported doesn't mean that the death was caused by the vaccine. And to address the other side of it, just because many/most of the cases in VAERS are said not to have any known links to vaccines doesn't mean that none of those people weren't harmed by vaccines. That stuff needs to be investigated to know.

I agree. I don't think it's going to happen, but I agree.

It wasn't that long ago vaccine rollouts were brought to a halt for as few as three reported deaths:

We have a thousand open questions currently and we're charging ahead with this by the millions.

Sorry I've been out of pocket for a week or so - I'm sure you all have been missing my unfrozen caveman stats. ;)

Basically, it looks to me like we're at the inflection point from exponential growth (95 days to double +/- 1 day) back to linear growth (1k deaths per day +/- a few hundred).

Look, that's still alot of dead people from this, so it ain't exactly great news. But, it is better than exponential growth. So, things are looking up.

The observed CFR is ticking up still, but I continue to believe that's more a function of fewer people being diagnosed/tested. I really don't think this is getting deadlier.

I just received email from .gov that I am now eligible for the vaccine. However, I am convinced that I had it in Jan/February 2020: symptoms, duration, and tested negative for the flu.

No antibodies, but that is not a surprise. I'm going to start looking to unravel some red tape and see what it takes to be tested for antigen-specific T-cells and B-cells before I submit to the vaccine.

Does anyone have any insider information into the State Board of Health? Tanks.

Interesting. There will be more and more people in your situation. Please let us know what you find out about dealing with this.

If your duration and symptoms were mild before, it could be that your immune response was mild as well and you might want to take the vaccine anyhow to trigger a stronger immune response.
I have heard there are a few different tests available for the antigen specific T-cells but don't know how widely available they are.

Thanks, I was sick for 3 weeks, but really down and out for four days. Not as sick as I was with the Obama flu in 2015, but pretty bad.

I just got off of the phone with the IN and then Allen Co. health departments, who both told me to talk to my family doctor about getting the T-Cell test. I guess we'll see if I put my money where my mouth is when it turns out that the test is prohibitively expensive, and not covered by insurance.

The T-Detect test is supposed to cost $150 plus markup, plus blood draw fees, plus a bunch of other fees no doubt. There is probably no telling what the bottom line cost would be at various health care facilities. The best thing would be that it is covered by your insurance.

I'm willing to volunteer for a study.

I just got an opportunity to get my first wuhu vaccine shot tomorrow afternoon.

In spite of somewhat mixed feelings because of the numbers going way down here, I am going to do it. So if I don't show up here anymore, it means it didn't go so hot. :)
