Interesting how definitions have changed. Once all members of the mob were equal participants and valid targets. Now rioters are seen to be hiding among/behind "protesters" who are exempt from lethal force

OK, good advice. I disagree with the new definition of a mob, not that it is not accurate, but if the mob is violent and you do not walk away you are the mob.

Yes, things have changes...terms, definitions, descriptions of events, etc.
Knowledge is often key in a self-defense situation!
Spacial awareness and 'seeing' what is happening in advance, so you can take alternative routes,
or simply avoid the aggressors, is the best first-line defense!

Unfortunately "mob" is defined by agenda-driven prosecutors. The armed ***holes who were blocking traffic and threatening motorists are still walking around even after being ID'd. Little old lady in a minivan on the Circle or in a Corolla in B-Town? Not so much.

Once the cocktails start flying everyone is a target. No time to identify if that's a bomb or a cellphone so they all go down. Maybe I will go to jail tomorrow but my family will get to live tonight.
