Looks like an illegal scannable registry to me. The laws only apply to citizens not the ATF.

    Obligatory **** the feds

atf is the scum of scum...take an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the States and then build a career upon doing all you can to rape it.

Any word on whether or not this piece of **** is an actual real life honest to god FEDERAL AGENT!!! ?

    Oh... and with "creds"?!?!
Yes he was and still is. Even after the shoplifting from Kroger(wine...no not being ironic he stole a bottle of wine). He also sued for excessive force.

James Burk, a 16-year veteran of the ATF

"Burk has since moved to an administrative role within ATF because of the incident and injuries, both physical and psychological, Burk says he suffered."

Do not read it bigred. It will not make you happy. But yes he is and was a "special" agent of the ATF. Who do you think would volunteer to work at the ATF if not power hungry lunatics?

Fun for all, google: William Burk ATF.

Read any article on this from an NPR affiliate. They all explain that the fed was the picture of propriety and the locals savagely beat him for no reason. Almost like they get their talking points gron a central source.

For extra points, look at the bios of the NPR affiliate authors. Lots and lots of gender studies graduates.

    Lol.

I had an idea on how to put a stop to pretty much all federal abuse.

Pass a state law that requires any federal agent in the course of their duties that interacts with citizens of the state be required to have an elected law enforcement officer with them(Sheriff)from the state, when interreacting with a citizen or business of the state. The local departments would earn a fee for their time and resource use from the said federal agency(set by the state).

Include fines and jail time for agents of federal agencies that do not comply and penalties for agencies that regularly break the rules(higher fees) and make them automatic(1 violation 1 year increase in fees by 10% 2nd 20% ect). 5% of funds for the state enforcement of the program, the rest to local departments.

Add in state government guarantees for insurance and legal protections for said officers.

Yes, most sheriff departments would need to increase manpower.
