I would assume the (fake) suppressor/barrel extension increases the barrel lenght to 16"+, thus making it a standard rifle. It seems more than a few folks are taking this route which gives you an SBR looking firearm of legal length with the option to SBR it easily later

Even though it has a butt stock, it is still not an sbr even if it started its life as a pistol?

Its deffinately a good looking gun. Im not big on the look of AKs but that actually looks pretty good. Sorry that was a little off topic. It looks to me though that the fake suppressor does give it enough length to be a standard rifle.

The gas tube and hand guards look different than anything else I have seen, but it is a good price. If you have the money and it is something you are looking for go for it. You could also fill out the paperwork yourself and make it an SBR after you get it. All the hard work (drilling and taping the back) is done.
