Apparently Sex and the City is back with some new version of the show. (That's not the facepalm part). One of the fictional characters on this fictional show was riding a Peleton bike in the first episode and had a heart attack and died.

Shares of Peleton dropped by 11% today because of this. The actual stock price dropped. In. The. Real. World.

There is a lot more involved in the Peleton plunge. People bought them like crazy when all the lockdowns were in place and now they are trying to sell them like crazy and going back to gyms or doing the usual and stopping their home exercising now that the shine has worn off the idea.
