Are Tikka T3 stocks same as Rem 700

I heard that they will work but cannot verify.
Anybody know for sure ?

I believe that the Tikka receiver is a unique pattern and will not fit a Rem 700 stock. If you look at Bell and Carlson stocks website, they sell different stocks specifically for Tikkas. You may be thinking of the Bergara B14 rifles which are patterned after the Remington 700 with a few modifications/upgrades.

I have two Tikka T3 rifles that I have put in Bell and Carlson sporter stocks. Great stock for the money. I believe Bill2905 is correct that Tikka and Remington are not compatible
