Are healthy people really getting hit hard by Covid?

I've had the vax and I had tinnitus before and I have it after, and it hasn't gotten any better or worse, so make of that what you will. The only thing I can say with certainty is that the vax did not cure my tinnitus.

Isn't it interesting that for every claim made against the vaccines there is a ready made study already done, just waiting to be posted?

So we have a rushed vaccine that has not gone through long term studies but we have studies that refutes any side effects claims, how is that possible?

No doubt that these have been some trying times. Hard to tell who to trust anymore. (Did I just say WHO, no I certainly don't trust them. Ha, ha.) One of the reasons I joined this site is to connect with folks that can be trusted. I have a LOT of thoughts about this VIRUS but I won't elaborate here and now. What I will say is that it is so sad that this virus (with the help of our government) has so deeply divided people. For example, I have a friend that will no longer respond to my emails or texts and hasn't for over a year. The whole issue stemmed from one of his relatives dying from/with Covid 19 and I told him that I had four relatives that had Covid 19 and got over it. Yes, it kicked their butts but they are alive and well. He now views me as an ANTI-VAXXER. "How dare I endanger all of those people, who willing took the shot, by my careless, unvaxcinated lifestyle." Hmmm? Do I worry about getting Covid 19? You bet I do. I'm like a 45 acp. Short, fat and slow. I worry about getting the flu too. I have high BP so I try to be careful. I also have male pattern baldness, I'm not running out to buy a Capillus Laser Cap, so I'm also not rushing out to get the shot.
All of this saddens me greatly that people cannot be civil and disagree with one another without all of the hate. Gee, I can remember when the biggest disagreement was if I drove a Chevy or a Ford! (for the record, I am a 45 acp guy)

That's what I hate the worst too. TPTB just keep introducing wedges to create conflict, not only between the "tribes" but within them as well.

None of those links rule it out. Seems like a lot of hemming and hawing about, "Well, we don't know for sure that it was caused by the vaccine."

Kind of like the Autism from vax claims. Correlation does not equal causation. I'm not saying the vax ISN'T causing this. I just need to see something that would link it, other than timing.

Indeed. The claim was that 60k people lost their hearing after the vaccine. Making a connection between the two when no connection has been established or proven and that connection is the basis of negative attitude towards that vaccine.

Pretty much, yeah. And a lot of CYA language like, "Well, gee, we don't really know much about tinnitus and it could have come from anywhere."

Who's "A" are these entities covering? They have no connection to the NIH, WHO, CDC, or any of the vaccines.

And remember there can be underlying issues that arent detected because they had no reason to be tested. Some of the kids who died did so from things like undiagnosed heart conditions. Nothing in their daily lives caused them to be screened. I mean, when was the last time you had your kid take a treadmill stress test? Of course you havent. You had no reason to.

Now something comes along that inflames a perfectly normal heart and causes fatigue and other serious but not life threatening issues. Now apply that same swelling to an undiagnosed bad heart. Its like a bad car battery. Car starts fine, so you dont think anything of it. Then there is a cold snap and now the solenoid just clicks. The battery was bad, you just didnt know it until something minor stressed it.

Edit: Some of these kids are probably the same ones that would drop dead during a HS sporting event and have to be revived by medics on hand for the game had Covid never happened. "Gee, we never suspected an enlarged heart. He seemed so healthy"

Well, you would be surprised how many deaths I've heard about that were just like that. The person had just not done anything really strenuous since they were a kid. A significant number of people are like ticking bombs, unfortunately. It is like playing Russian Roulette. The five times you get away with it, is what really screws you.

I think it's incredibly instructive that the OVERALL death rate hasn't changed much as a result of COVID. It's a "thing," but nowhere near as big a deal as people are making of it. The fact it's totally new and likely created in a lab does definitely have some sexiness to it. But I for one believe we've gotten incredibly lucky on this one. The one that got out, didn't really change the death rate much. I just have to think there are worse things they're working on, and I really hope the laboratory community has learned a heck of a big lesson from this.
