    That Wheeler one looks better than what I use. I have built quite a few rifles over the years with a set like below. Never an issue. Not sure if the 9MM is different though.

    I have a Magpul BEV block and a couple of other vice blocks. 9mm barrels not having locking lugs create a problem for the spline type blocks.

    I bought a side charging billet upper for my 9mm build, which added further complication. None of the vice blocks I had would fit into the upper.

    I took the advice of other long time INGOer's, (seasoned builders, that I actually know FTF.) The idea to use wood blocks, with the receiver sideways came from them.

    Thank you, but I'm in Columbus,IN.
    I tried my Nev block, but it doesn't hold well, since the 9mm has no lugs
    Plastix Revolution makes a quality product from what I have heard, and I have the VISM product that has been drilled out to handle ar22 extensions that is excellent.

    I have used the PlastiXrevolution blocks on my 9mm builds and they work very well. Hardwood blocks would be comparable.
