I replaced the Geissele SSA trigger in the Colt with a Geissele SSP.
The SSP specs at 3 - 3.75 lb pull weight.
This install averaged (out of 5 pulls) 1 lb 10.6 oz.
Bizarre to be so much lighter than spec.

I double checked the install. Install is good to go.
I tested it 2 more times, both with results very similar to the initial test.
Don't want to breath too heavy near that trigger!
    I like your problems
Thoughts on the SSA versus the SSP?

I've had the SSA in the Colt for years. Good trigger but I'm not fond of two stage triggers.
I put an SSP in my newest build and "WOW!" Love the SSP. Very fast break and reset.

My GF really liked the SSP in the Aero build so with her b-day coming up I put an SSP in "her" Colt.

I'm sure after she checks it out she'll love it in the Colt too.
I figure I'm gonna have a used SSA for sale!

    GF's birthday...

Somebody got a Geissele SSP trigger installed in their LE6920 for their birthday-
Ya know lodge, I got a birthday coming up too :stickpoke::):

    Obligatory AR pics.

Here was my first AR. Stag model 8 piston driven. Put first gen magpul furniture and an atrocious YHM muzzle device on it. Didn't really know what I was doin back then. Piston was good. Ran well. Slightly different impulse. Just not worth the weight for benefits gained IMHO.

And to honor the occasion of your soon to be birthday I have a Geissele SSA trigger (used) at an unbelievable celebratory birthday discount!!!!!

Stop posting pics with the Helios. I already have too many MDs to replace for suppressor host md's and the more I see that the more I want to order one just to try it.
    lol
    Sorry about that.
I've replaced that Helios with a VG6 Precision Gamma 556 brake.
I now have that very Helios at a significantly discounted price!

The Helios is a nice blast can. Exceptionally light Ti construction. It is much quieter than a brake but isn't much help in recoil management. It does reduce the flash a bit but ultimately it is just a really good looking way to dress up your muzzle.

That's what I wanted it for really. Just to play dress up with on a pistol. But my first can is about to be here so I don't want to not be able to use it on any of the guns it can be used on.

Got the form 1 approval to SBR two days ago, still a couple minor tweaks I want to make but overall very pleased with it. All the bells and whistles as this is my main nightvision gun, Eotech EXPS3-0, full power peq-15, Geissele SD-C trigger, running an OSS 7.62 QD suppressor right now but I’d like to switch to the new FLOW556K in the future to save a bunch of weight out front, also a Streamlight Protac Railmount HL-X light on the other side of the gun.

Good looking gun. Top tier kit. What does it weigh all kitted out?

    Most recent INGO lower.

Nicest thing on it is the barrel. 223 Wylde barrel from Odin Works.

AllenM did the upper assembly work and cerakoting.
