Like within the last few seasons?

We're catching a game next week and I want to know if I'll be OK with one of my smaller regularly carried pocket knives.

Apparently they installed some fancy schmancy detection hardware a "few" years ago. That, plus signage carrying weight of law in OH means that I won't chance a firearm. Don't want to get jammed up legally.

    Amy experience?

Last time I went to a Red’s game I’m pretty sure they had metal detectors.

I KNOW they have detectors. But they're not the booth-style walk through. Nor do they use wands - as both cause delays. Some kind of longer range tech.

I just want to know if a pocket knife will pass or not. :-)

I don’t remember for sure, but I thought I got wanded. And I think we had to empty our pockets. We didn’t bring anything else with us.

Generally if it's a wand, one could theoretically empty one's pockets and dump the items into one's ball cap and hold it above one's head while the security stooge runs the wand around one's waist.

Walk through detectors offer different challenges, depending on how sensitive they are.

I once carried a beretta jet fire into Lucas oil during NCAA games by palming it behind my keys and wallet.

I attended a concert a few years ago with wands and booths. I clipped my bigger Kershaw right behind my belt buckle. Made it through without an issue.
