If I write a app specifically geared towards firearm owners and conservatives, how many of you would consider using it? I'm trying to get a baseline number to see if there would be enough interest in it.

I would personally love an INGO like app. I know there's the tapatalkamajig, but it doesn't do much for me. I definitely miss when gunbroker was an app...

Those are all questions that need fielded.. what features would folks like and not like.. personally in my head I was thinking more along the lines of just a big middle finger to Facebook and some other anti 1st, 2nd amendment socialist media apps

It would be a growing work.. inwould have to start basic and add features as they are requested just due to time constraints

It's still in the planning phase.. im envisioning a middle finger to Facebook, a classifieds section for buyers and sellers and possibly a search engine similar to ammoseek.. maybe options for groups to be formed by state.. I have a lot of thoughts on this and limited time and resources.. I would want to make it a free app with no ads where users could go into settings and donate IF and only IF they wanted

Yes, I will do all the hosting and storage in my home.. I have a pretty advanced home network. I would not have to worry about having domain registration.. I have static IPs already and those would just need coded into the app to connect. As far as storage goes , hard drives are so inexpensive these days

Yes, I will do all the hosting and storage in my home.. I have a pretty advanced home network. I would not have to worry about having domain registration.. I have static IPs already and those would just need coded into the app to connect. As far as storage goes , hard drives are so inexpensive these days

There is definitely a way to do it. I hosted icecast on my Linux server to see how much traffic it could handle before listeners started getting buffering and lag. Pushing the mp3s at 320kbps I had a peak of 150K+ listeners without any buffering(I have asymetric 1Gb fiber here) . For the guy that said he wouldn't be interested, if it's because you think I may collect personal data, my plan was to allow usage without personalized accounts.. in other words, it wouldn't even have to be a real email address to register, usernames could be whatever people wanted (subject to availability) my intent is to give conservatives a completely anonymous platform to voice their ideas and concerns.. the incitement of violence wouldn't be condoned but I want to create a truly free speech platform.
