I got this several years ago for display (I collect cutlass swords and wanted to put it with them). I got it on a whim — I was told it’s likely an Asian copy of an 18th Century English Naval pistol in .69 caliber. All I know is it looks cool. I hope this is the correct place for this post. Anyone know what I have? Is it safe to learn to shoot it sometime? The flint sparks but I have no experience in things like this. Thanks!

From the looks of it you have a Tower reproduction, if it has a flash hole you can probably shoot it with the correct charge and ball. Stick with real black powder for more reliability, and clean it up with lots of hot soapy water when you are done.

Veteran Arms on the internet imports things like this and has info about what they sell, check them out and best of luck.
