In the "Honor Harrington" book series (sci-fi), there is a scene on a planet where there is a rebellion going on.
The "bad guys" have dropped a bunch of KEWs (Kenetic Energy Weapon) and killed a lot of civies, wiping out a few cities.
The cavalry arrives, taking out the orbiting "navy", then calls up the bad guys.
Bad guys threaten to kill prisoners, more civies, and figure the arriving force is too small for planetary invasion.
Good guy commander drops assault shuttles with combat marines to the stadium holding the hostages, then while on the committee with head bad guy, comments that he doesn't understand why people think THEY are so bad no one will touch them.
Then he drops his own KEW on the bad guys large building, wiping them out.

So I just deleted them and put the link.

Sometimes things don't work out as well on the cell phone.
I'm on a 16 hour shift, and I just got done working on a transducer on a "car" that moves a ladle of steel. The second time in 2 days. So, my patience meter is flashing "low level".

It probably has to do with the referrer. Since you visited the site you can load the images there, then when you posted here they were cached so you could still see them. But the others, who hadn't been to the original site and cached the images, could not see them
