"And to those out there that might be foolish enough to ask why we shot him so many times, the answer is simple: evil can never be dead enough."

Marion County does crap like this all the time - releasing people with pending serious and/or violent felonies when they have a history of convictions for the same/similar thing. Some people are predators - plain and simple- and others pay for this leniency with their lives.
Indpls was like that 20+ years ago when I lived there. Things were good, a new administration comes in, relaxes the rule as too many good thugs were getting to meet their maker compliments of law enforcement and things go south for several years. People get fed up and law enforcement starts sending the thugs to their maker again and whala, things are good again. Repeat cycle.

He should have never been on the streets. Hopefully all the officers are ok and remain ok to much trauma can come from a situation like this.
and this is what a lot of people don't get about leo.

most of them suffer the same stress, trauma, second thoughts, etc., that any other person would. and those same feelings are thrust upon their families as well.

my thoughts and prayers go out to those officers and their families.
