From his White House statement today on the 3rd anniversary of the Parkland shooting.

"...This Administration will not wait for the next mass shooting to heed that call. We will take action to end our epidemic of gun violence and make our schools and communities safer. Today, I am calling on Congress to enact commonsense gun law reforms, including requiring background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and eliminating immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets. We owe it to all those we’ve lost and to all those left behind to grieve to make a change. The time to act is now."

    :ugh:

Will they go after car manufacturers next?

Over 30,000 Americans die in car crashes each year.

They should go after car manufacturers, also cellphone manufacturers and alcohol producers when those are what caused the car accident.

Before the house and senate vote on any 2nd amendment we need to remind them that they will be up for re-election at sometime and we will not forget how they voted ! Taking rights away from the people that they are supposed to be working for is not going to be beneficial to them!!

Obviously the Dems and gun control advocates won’t tell the American public they are doing anything to restrict gun ownership by law abiding citizens and no one their right mind could be against the proposals they’ve outlined.

Death by a thousand cuts and another end run. Why anyone could come to any other conclusion defies logical thinking.

Non-descriptive thread titles are getting to become the norm around here lately. :xmad::xmad::xmad:

Thinking up names for my next few threads...

Hear hear. I vote for the other two to be merged into this one (even though it's technically the last of three) just because of that.
