Seems like the goal is total electric everything. That way they can control large population centers with a click of a mouse shutting down entire grids.... :dunno:
No doubt. Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket. (electricity) cooking, heating, transportation... Even if the goal isnt nefarious, its ridiculously short sighted.

And none of which can be produced in the quantities needed for TRUE UNLIMITED freedom by an individual. Coincidence? Probably not.

Look at the average off-grid person. They can generally be self sufficient provided they either break their backs by using wood fuel to cook and heat or get by with propane. (or both)

Either way, taking away their ICE car, that "threat" that is now isolated to their homestead. ESPECIALLY if you take away their petroleum products. And given those off grid types are more likely than not to end up on the leftists' watch list, this is not at all surprising.

We learned throughout the wuwho flu debacle that tattletales are everywhere, cannot burn wood without smoke smell, and lefty states are moving this direction, the power of the state is unchecked and out of control.
A large percentage of this county heats with wood and most won't say anything about things they don't like for fear their neighbor will burn their house down. I've heard people actually use this for an excuse not to report things they know are happening. Things that really should be reported.
