    Soon we will read:
"Next up, California lawmakers unveil plan to hold auto makers liable for hit and run accidents."

Pretty sure that's against the federal law that you can't hold gun manufacturers liable for what someone does with their product, but, it is commifornia...

Newsom knows it violates fed law, but cited the abortion law in Texas as precedent. Much as Biden said during the “campaign” that he had no authority to issue mandates for the shot, but then he did it anyway… the goal is that people will comply before the courts have time to say, “heyyyyyyy, you can’t do thaaaaaaat…”

I am also reminded of one of our Presidents squaring off against the Chief Justice (I want to say Jackson v Marshall?) on some point… he said, “the Chief Justice has given his opinion. Let’s see him enforce it!” (Of course knowing that the executive branch gives the decisions of the court or the actions of the legislature their “teeth”.

They’re trying to turn PLCA into a dead letter. They will likely fail. How sad that I have to qualify that prediction.

    Blessings,
    Bill

Sounds like Newtown, they're STILL fighting that one in court.

As long as we're going to start holding people accountable for stuff, how about holding politicians to their campaign promises or else make them pay back the campaign contributions?
