Drew up a new pattern for the pancake 1911. The last one I made to use with the 14+ oz saddle skirting. I moved the stitch lines in some and reduced some of the bulk. Threw together a quick holster from some scrap leather and it turned out good. Should get some good definition when I actually put effort in to form it IMG_20230319_221805826.jpg

Couple really easy coasters. wife wanted the sun and moon. Beat up the leather a little for the crossed rifles to give it a slightly distressed look. The crossed rifles went to my aunt along with some American flag ones. My aunt and uncle are gold star parents and he's also a vet as well and they're pretty active in the legion, vfw, patriot guard riders and a bunch of other groups. they're doing a raffle of some sort in one of the groups and my coasters are one of the prizes. These are fun to do with the two oldest feral kids. IMG_20230325_103400609.jpg IMG_20230322_192652895.jpg

Glad you like it @BigRed !

Was asked to make some flag patches from leather. Still tinkering with the tension on the sewing machine the hook side of the Velcro is giving me fits with pulling the knot through. So ignore the squiggly stitch line as this is still a proto. Going to try to ink stamp some tomorrow too. IMG_20230401_215756827.jpg

I was digging in the gun safe trying to find a clipazine and seen my tac14 sitting lonely in the corner. I think the next project is going to a tac14/shockwave scabbard. Maybe even go all out and make a belt holster just for giggles.

Got a sheath made for my Bowie knife, definitely not perfect but a lot better than my previous attempts!

Looks great! That's similar to how I'm making mine. I started the sheath for mine today. I've only ever made taco style sheaths so I made it out of scraps and didn't take my time really. If it works out I'm going to make another.

    Thank you!
I should have taken a picture of the back, used my American flag stamp and Made in Indiana on the back. That’s the first one I’ve made like that myself, my first two were tacos as well.
