Anyone with some knowledge have any opinions on the Circle 11 Polish parts kits that Atlantic Firearms has? I'm very interested but want more opinions. A tad steep at $799 but I think the value is there long term

Holy smoke…$800 for parts? If you do, go with a Childers Polish receiver and a FB Radom barrel to keep it as Polish as you can. (Never mind, they’ve sold out at $879)

Also, Atlantic has been throwing up some decent deals on RS stuff recently. Those "add to your cart to see the better price" sales. I could use a few more upper mount variants.

Got Loris together. Now I can't get the safety lever in. The bottom that sits on the back of the disco in the safe position is hitting the top of the disco when I try to rotate it down. I know aftermarket levers need trimmed sometimes but this lever is the serialized part to this gun and it's(to my knowledge) the trigger that was in this gun. It's at least a mil spec romanian trigger.

Edit: I realize now I need to notch the lever. Guess I'll be doing that tomorrow. Still need to drill for the pins for the gas block and front sight

Painted and baked my Childers Hungarian receiver today. All the pieces are together now. Need to drill and punch out the rivets from the demilling process

Yeah man, gtg. The back of the follower is squared off to hold the bolt open on the last round. Be careful though as removal of the magazine will allow the bolt to slam home. A very solid combloc magazine.

    SURPLUS CROATIAN STEEL AK47 MAGAZINES 30RD 7.62X39
    $10

    Are these any good?

These can be really hit or miss. A lot of people, myself included, have had to file on the mags to get them to fit several of my guns. Enough inconsistency and aggravation with these mags that I don't mess with them at all anymore, and wouldn't take any more for free. But with anything inconsistent, YMMV.

I don't have any experience with them personally but have read the same thing about them. I just wait till Gun Mag Warehouse has the Bulgarian steel 30s on sale for $12.99 and buy those

Are the newer Century Arms VSKAs any good. I’m not an AK guy to be honest but I do have a Polytech folder and an NHM91 and have been thinking I need a standard full stock AK. I’ve been trying to get a full stock Polytech I sold my friend years ago when I needed cash after open heart surgery but he says he’s going to his grave with it so I need to look elsewhere. I know where there is a very nice VSKA, like new, for around 7 bills. It’s flat black with plastic furniture, which I’d like to replace with wood, and looks unfired. I seem to recall Century AKs having issues back in the day. Thanks for your advice.
