Any suggestions for equipment to bring? I've never shot a match like this before - what do you need as far as shell carriers, etc.? Is it advisable to have a sling on your shotgun?

For Marvin02 :: The Divisions are based ONLY on what type of GUN you bring. How you carry spare ammo is completely open to you. I would recommend using whatever you are most familiar with. Or whatever you think gives you the most "competitive advantage". I know, not much of an answer... FWIW, I likely will wear a dump pouch filled with my spare ammo at 2 o'clock on my belt. To feed one at a time into a Mos. 590A1. Even though a great friend let me borrow his Mos. JM 931 and quad carrier belt with room for about 80 rounds (OK actually about 32).

The stages are some of everything, as far as targets. ALL MUST FALL, be KNOCKED OVER, or FLIP, etc. to count as a HIT.
4 of the 5 stages have movement AVAILABLE (not necessarily required).

Like a Steel Challenge match, IT IS FINE TO SHOOT MULTIPLE ENTRIES. If you have the ammo and shoulder for it...

@G7. - thanks. Looking forward to the match. I ordered she'll holders for my belt and one for the stock. I also have a drop pouch I can use.

Any idea if highest round count on a stage?

Well, I'm out. I got some she'll holders and was working on practicing reloading (with snap caps) and find that I need a lot more practice before trying a match.

Good luck to everyone who's shooting in this. As always - thanks to those who work to provide opportunities like this.

You won't be the only one fumbling and dropping shells.
Betcha some safeties get left on for the first target too.
