Hey INGO can anyone reccomend a AC Repair company in Mooresville ?

My mom's AC is having fits.

What I think is happening is when it gets near the set temperature it starts and stops instead of turning off .

It will keep her house cool but the longer it runs the more it tries to start and stop .

Instead of running for an hour then turning off the interval between starting and stopping will get shorter and every 15 minutes it will try to shut off .

    Thanks in advance.

I am not seeing an issue here. 15 minute cycles dependent on outdoor temps is not all that bad.
They are supposed to cycle. This is a function of the T-stat. When it is satisfied it.......shuts the system off. When the inside temp rises due to the load factors it.....re-starts.

Clean filter and clean outdoor coil......Just trying to save you a service call. If I was closer I would have a look for you but Moorsville is not all that close. We get down there a lot but.....:)

Call shorty's HVAC supply in West Newton. Ask for Mike. Tell him that crazy buddy of his from Ingo sent you. He knows a lot of the good service people out your way.
    Hope it is nothing serious.

Lmao. Thanks for the info CM .

I wound up going with Economy HVAC here in town.

It turned out to be a TXV , a T something (can't remember) exchange valve .

    Good people, quick and courteous.

As it turned out the tech (Jeff ) was a gun guy who didn't know about INGO so of course I told him all about it.

    Thanks again.
