    I saw this today at lunch time. Now that we have ObamaCare, now that the Overton Window has been shifted, I guess this is about as good as we can expect out of Washington.

    To solve the problem of expensive preexisting conditions, our alternative would allocate $7.5 billion a year in defined-contribution federal funding for state-run “high risk” pools.

    It may be somewhat better than ObamaCare, but we'll still be stuck with .gov entitlements and be glad to have them by comparison. :rolleyes:

    I would have hoped for a more free market solution.

    I'm not really surprised though. The GOP has said they believe people really want the pre-existing-condition coverage and the ability to keep your kids on your plans for longer periods of time. It reads like, in this plan anyway, they're listening and pandering.
