As with last year let's keep this to American firearms only please. I would LOVE to have a display that showed other countries, but last year it was hard enough just keeping ours in line and we have room for more.

Most of our gaps were in the pistol arena. We had many great rifles to display and tell their story. I'll try to bring my friends black powder that goes back to the Civil War and Revolutionary War (IIRC.)

Here is what I will start off with from me:

    Revolutionary War

    Pennsylvania Flintlock Rifle (Spencer Rifle)
    Tower Pistol (Spencer Rifle)

    Civil War

1861 Spencer Rifle w/ Spike Bayonet (Spencer Rifle)
1861 Sharps & Hankins Navy Carbine (Spencer Rifle)
1859 Sharps Rifle w/ Saber Bayonet (Spencer Rifle)
    1860 Smith Carbine (Spencer Rifle)

1851 Colt Navy Revolver (Spencer Rifle)
1863 Remington Army Revolver (Spencer Rifle)

Indian Wars (Will also include Spanish American War)

    WWI

    Springfield M1903

    WWII

    M1 Carbine
    M1 Carbine, Paratrooper model (Jedi)
    M1 Garand

    Vietnam

    M16 (A CR15 semi-auto replica)

    Desert Storm

    Modern

    Regards,

    Doug

It looks like you already have a 1903 and M1 Garand, but I can bring an M4 replica for modern, as well as the M9 and M11 for sidearms (also modern era). I can get you all details on these as well.

Thank you sir. Have added to the list.

My area of expertise is definitely NOT with black powder. On each of these could you please let me know who used them, mostly, or possibly equally? Union or Confederate?

    Thanks,

    Doug

Same question as to Spencer Rifle, who used the saber & the knife? Oh, and what branch, Army, Navy, or both?

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Also, I have 4 stands.
3 are actually INGOs made by lonehoosier for meet and shoots.

Two of them hold 15 each.
    Two hold 9 each.

I have a laminator if we want to go that route.

I wanted to make up cards last year but didn't get around to it. Several last minute donations. This year I intend to.

Logistically why don't we see about me making up cards for this year, I'll bring them, then when all is done this year you can take them home and laminate them. That way they'll be good for every year hereafter when we get donations?

With the numbers from last year I believe As many stands as possible would be a good idea. We had a lot and it would be nice to possibly organize them by era.

    Thanks,

    Doug

They don't have to be 3x5s. Could be a whole page. Whatever works. I can laminate up to a standard page.
You could always start making them up, and mailing them to me.
Then I could have them laminated beforehand.
