You are correct. I believe Brittingham makes their stuff 1/3 twist.Don't these barrels have insane twist rates? The projectile is basically a flying meat drill bit. What is the expected barrel life with this cartridge? When I worked at Dillon we wanted to experiment to see, but never got around to it.

I heard KB explain in one video that since you’re capped on the velocity and somewhat capped on bullet weight, they were brainstorming ways to deliver more energy on target and came up with messing around with the twist rate. Seems to work!

For those people: Take a drill with a bit in it and jab yourself in the palm. Now hold the trigger and do it again… let me know if you notice any difference!People often don’t understand rotational energy transfer. I’ve seen that pic before and that’s a perfect example.
