That Annie is just a good looking rifle!!

If Patience owned it, it have no doubt it’s a straight shooter!

wbt, is that a rail of which the rings are attached that you added or is that a dovetail you bought rings to fit on it.

I ask b/c whenever I have a dovetail (like on the CZ), I put a rail on the dovetail so I have more flexibility in putting higher rings (cantilevers), in order to get the height & position I need closer to the head b/c of arthritis).

On Annie? Those are some rings that patience sold me to go with the gun. I'm not fond on the type (vertical split, instead of horizontal split). They're very nice rings, but they were very difficult to setup vs the more traditional horizontal split rings. The height is fine for me, I think. I need to get out to the range with it as soon as it warms up to get a feel for it again.

Ignore hole in upper left, that was first shot before adjusting zero.

Need to drag them out and get some newer pics, of both of these and the Ruger American. Also need to get out and shoot some groups of some newer ammo, got some time off work for the next couple of weeks so don't have any excuses for not doing it.

CZ & Tikka are the best in my opinion.....

Finally got a membership at Marion County Fish & Game.
This is the 2nd time I've got to shot 100 yds.
I can't see where my shots are going at 100 yds.
The Nikon 10x50 binos aren't enough & the scopes on the rifles aren't enough either.
I will need to buy a spotting scope.

Today, and older man was there shooting with a spotting scope & he would let me know where my POI was so I could adjust the scope.
When I tried looking through it, it wasn't magnified enough for my eyes to pick up where the rounds were hitting.
I got most of the adjustments last week, but fine-tuned it this week.

The red is same size as a clay pigeon (4.3").

Try using some targets that "splatter" - you'll easily see where you are hitting with some binos.

This is my go to rimfire.

    Gemtech GM22 can

Optic is now a nikon rimfire

Good enough for squirrels. Haven't really done a lot of bench shooting with it, but it shoots very well. Usually 1-2 inches at 50 yrds.

Got out again a little this afternoon. Mostly shot steel but put a few on paper with the T1x. Didn't feel like walking out to 100 so just shot the paper at 50 yards. I'm a little disappointed with the Standard +, it usually does much better. Got the feeling using the points of the diamond were causing me to string horizontally. First group was .345 with 4 in one hole then went to hell after that. The Geco I shot after the SK had a little horizontal stringing in one group where I used the point so that is my theory.

Yeah, I can see how those would be useful. Aim small, miss small. I've got some stick on deals that are about 3/4" but those are almost too big for precision use.
Just looking for ideas to use for new targets. Ordered some of them and will use them this weekend. Some are designed like little donuts with sprinkles. Lol.
