Just curious as to what you want it for. If serious you can get all you want at most any range. MCFG must have a million .22LR cases laying on the ground. :dunno:

yeah thats it, I'd really like to know how well they work. Could be a very good SHTF bullet along with the cast stuff I have for 9MM

Check out Cast Boolits - Dedicated To The World Of Cast Bullets!
They have a Swaging section with a lot of good information.
They do from 22 cal up to large caliber hand gun bullets.
I kick around the idea every once in a while, however the
die sets are a little pricey.

Yeah that's what has stopped us from buying a set, pretty pricey and not having any first hand experience with them. We've kicked the idea around for a couple of years.

It works great, swaging from 22lr cases. It can make sub 1" bullets without too much trouble.

The best way to get cases is to buy a 22cal firearm and a brick of ammo and have at it.

As long as commescial jackets are available from Berger I would probably just use those

I like making stuff so I made my own press, de-rimming die, core mold. I did buy the bullet dies from Richard Corbin.

These are all made from 22 cases, 22short, 38 grain 22lr 55 grain and 22 magnum 90 grain
