    Where's the bacon?
Today, Tuesday January 11th 2022, is supposed to be the deadline for filing House bills, no later than 2:00pm. Are there any anticipated 'last minute' filings we should be watching out for?
Keep in mind that that's what "vehicle bills" are for....the "stem cells" of legislation. They can be amended into any kind of bill at any time.

And hopefully no one tries to stick such a requirement in. In my opinion discussions about doing so in past sessions really caused confusion and created excuses to kill the bill. Just say no to unnecessary databases!
So how are you at public speaking?

ALERT! There are more bills including SB 311 firearms matters (another ConC bill) from Erin Houchin (sponsored HB1369 last year.). More to follow

You're right he will be against it, but as JEB said he's in the Senate, write your representative as well. Can't hurt.
My bad. Regan Hatcher. Same thing though. Guaranteed to vote no as well.

They have been written, emailed, and called even though it's a waste of time

Any hope the Senate will pass it this time? Or once again refuse to even let it come to the floor. Same republicans still in charge so not holding my breathe....then you got Holcomb.

Here is the roll call for HB 1077
What I find interesting is that one of the "Excused" Representatives is the Majority Caucus Chairman and two of the Republican "Nay" votes are Assistant Majority Caucus Chair persons
