I'm taking my party back after the election. Just like you guys took yours back from the Tea Party.

But, you may be correct. It's a lot easier to be an independent nowadays than aligned with either side.

I fully admit that I am politically homeless. There isn't a political party that represents my thinking on enough issues to make me feel at home. I really like it that way anyway. I feel like it frees me to be as critical as I need to be.
