1911 value

Looking at taking a Springfield 1911 ultra carry in on trade. It is bi-tone, black slide with a polished frame. 3" barrel. Can't find any info on this model online. Owner says its 10 years old. Whats it worth?

Not that I am aware of. He lives in crown point. I haven't looked at arms list in a few years. :-)

It's a pretty old gun with that fat dust cover and GI sights. 600.00 might be okay as long as you don't plan on putting any work into it. By just upgrading the sights with parts and labor you're almost at brand new compact territory.
