    I inherited it from my FIL. The letter states it was issued to an officer, carried during the Battle of the Bulge then brought home and given to the son. That is where my FIL got it along with an original tanker holster. I know the letter doesn't necessarily mean facts but still... It doesn't appear to be a CMP.

    I haven’t posted any of my AllenM builds so I figured might as well start with a good one....

    Full on Carry-comp build in 45ACP. It’s accurate as a laser. One day I will let ChurchMouse coon finger it...

    Here is my slightly used Springfield Mil Spec that I picked up a few years ago from member @bwframe. It has since made a trip to AllenM for a little tlc. Including ball cuts and a trip through the blast cabinet to freshen up the stainless. Our very own @drillsgt had a hand in this one originally. After thousands of rounds it’s still a sweet shooter!
