8485152[/URL]]I just picked up a CZW Dan Wesson Valor and it is a stellar piece. No pics as my phone is acting up.
Also brought Home a Night Hawk Commander length.

    Pics when I can...:(

O.K. I think I have been waiting 4 long days to see the Dan Wesson and that Night Hawk commander. Put your life on hold and let’s see some pictures.:):

    Standard Mfg.
I just brought this "Back" home. I put the Faux Pearl on it when I 1st bought it. Now I have "Re-Bought" it.
The blue finish is impossible to capture on my cell camera. It is amazing.

Opinion over all of standard mfg 1911? They offer a full case hardened model that looks WILD

That is all in ones personal tastes. The guns are solid as a rock especially in the price point.
I have been comparing mine to the Valor I just paid "Stupid" money for and they are very close in build tolerances and the finish on the standard is mind blowing.

I am not a fan of the of the case hardened model. I am OK with that on a lever action cowboy rifle receiver if "You" own it and not me. OK to look at but not gonna own it. JMHO of course and if that finish gets you to step up your game then heck yes have at it my friend.

I have a piece in the arsenal that never gets shot that's worth close to that .45...
I often think about making the move. But placing a $1500 gun in my holster and insulating an attic makes me feel strange.. Just not there quite yet

There are times/places/situations you do not crawl into the :poop: strapped. Even I take mine out of the holster when these times/situations occur. You know, like sleep.....:):

Seriously my brother, the EDC I have with me daily is well north of $2K invested. I carry IWB so most of it is covered. But accessible.

One of the reasons I like my 1911, the one you are now very intimate with. If i go into the poo, the gun comes. Im pretty strict there.
Some day soon Ill be making a little more cash, maybe ill have a special one for less intense applications.

But in the spirit of this thread. Dang that blueing is awesome.

We all need a gun for dress up. A barbecue gun so to speak.
