1911 10mm to 9x25 Dillon

I was wondering how hard it would be to change a 10mm 1911 into a 9x25 Dillon.
Would it be as simple as just changing the barrel. Since it is based off the 10mm case I'd think the magazines would work. Just wondering about this. Please educate me on such an endeavor.

Should just be a barrel swap and maybe different recoil spring.

It would be my Christmas gift Rock Island Ultra FS 10mm. I've got a 22lb spring coming in and a 25lb trigger spring and a FPB square base. The factory recoil spring was launching brass over 30 feet away and that was just Remington 180gr FMJ. Box says 1150fps. It definitely won't handle full power 10mm loads with the current spring set up.

I dont have hands on experience with the 9x25. But I'm sure i could help set it up if needed.
I had two RIA's in 10mm and the barrels in both were sub par. So this might be a nice upgrade

Okay will keep this in mind. It would be nice to be able to just change the barrel and maybe recoil spring and have a different yet powerful cartridge.
