It's the Varmint Express. The barrel length (according to the website) is 19.25 inches. I think the angle of the photo makes it look longer tan it is.

That is about the same as I remember. They really are very effective against hogs. Great rifle!

What ammo does everyone use? As stated on an earlier post, I use the Federal Premium VShok with the17 gr Hornady polymer tip.

Not sure of the model of centrepoint. Guy took it in on a trade rifle. Think I gave 40 bucks. It is milky towards upper end but it's fine for the little 17. I'll replace it someday with a nice optic with side focus and a finer reticle.

Ammo most of the time hornaday 17grn v max since that is what's mostly on sale all the time. The 20grn hollow points grouped better. Will order a few boxes of FMJ for squirrel head shots.
