    I do gun raffle tickets several times a year up here. I usually buy one as well.

    This was being run through a local gun shop that donated the guns. He was holding them until the winners came in and he ran a 4473, then they could take the gun.

    I know they were running NICS.
    So, my point was, do people (regular people, not INGO) honestly think the police are not doing background checks.

    Yes they do, I spoke to one of their officers today, he also thought that they were just going to hand the winner a gun and let them be on their way.
