    Almost a year on this thread. I was yelling at the radio when I heard this part earlier:

    A June 20 trial date has been set, although the judge wrote in the ruling, “The parties are encouraged to work with the Magistrate Judge to reach a resolution of this case short of trial.”

    Well sure, I mean it's a win-win if they settle out of court. The judge/court doesn't have to do anything and there is an assumption of guilt on the part of the police.

    I think I'll call my boss in the morning and encourage him to go ahead and do my work tomorrow but pay me nonetheless.
