Where to sell a diamond ring/get appraised without being taken advantage of??

We were very happy. They found a couple loose settings that needed some attention and the repair cost was very reasonable.

      460 xvr rear sight

Have you reached out to S&W customer service? They should be able to tell you what sight you need and give you the specs on it. They might even send you the parts you need. They have been super helpful in the past.

      Beretta 92 rear sight

Can you get the dovetail dimensions with a micrometer? Wilson Combat makes a few sights for Berettas…. Maybe one of theirs will fit.

      HVAC & thermostat question.

And this is why we change filters in a regular basis. When you don’t, all the air-born funk in the house sticks to the wet AC coil and ends up suffocating the furnace during the heating season. And don’t try to B.S. the HVAC tech and say you have changed the filter on a regular basis. (Just...

      HVAC & thermostat question.

If it were me, I would reconfigure the thermostat for gas heat only and remove the heatpump all together. The wait should only be for a compressor delay so it doesn’t short cycle.

      HVAC & thermostat question.

Had one early Sunday morning short cycling and giving a pressure switch fault. Same thing… trap on The old Trane high efficiency was plugged. The condensate sloshing around in the inducer was a dead give away. Cleaned the trap and all was well. It’s the season. And change your filters! A...

      2023 Deer Season

Worked around the house all day. Was putting the gator up and saw a deer I. The neighbors corn field. Grabbed some binoculars and snuck to the back corner of my place where there is a cedar tree/bush and some saplings. Had a nice buck in the field and had a couple does with him. They...

      HVAC parts suppliers

Baker Distributing might have the part, but you need an account. Most supply houses won’t sell to the public for liability reasons. The don’t want YouTube techs blowing up a house from installing a part they sold. Best bet would be Koch Air or Habegger, but you also need an account there. If...

      .460 Rowland Greatness Discussion Thread

My boss told me about this round after going to Alaska. His nephew has one as his bear gun. It’s an interesting round to say the least. Bill bought a FNX-45 Tactical and sent it out to Rowland for their conversion. What a beast. With 185gr non-bonded JHPs, it will vaporize milk jugs. There...

      Must be fall.......Furnace question

Randy… tell him you want a Honeywell thermostat. AprilAire makes humidifiers and air filters… I wouldn’t recommend their thermostats. Like Hunter from Lowe’s. They make ceiling fans…. And should stick with that.

      1911 Show-N-Tell

Here is one for CM. Springfield base with a Clark 460 Rowland kit installed. AllenM did the hard part… putting it all together. Chen Magwell and grips, new Harrison Design grip and thumb safety, EGW internals. And new Cerakote to make it all come together. It’s a cannon… and CM would be...

      2023 Smoking/Grilling/Cooking thread

These two were bribed in MeatChurch Bird Bath overnight then got a healthy sprinkle of the Texas Sugar before going in the Green Mountain Grill at 275 until they hit 165 internal. There were no leftovers so I guess they were good…. Was kinda hoping to take the remains and make chicken salad.

9/1. How's about making it "Carry a 1911 day" in memory of Churchmouse?

These two CM pieces will be making noise today in Tim’s honor. Nothing says ChurchMouse more than a comped 1911 in 45 ACP.

      1911 Recommendations?

It takes a little time to get used to it. All my others are flat MSH. It is comfortable in the hand and doesn’t affect the way it shoots.
