      Thanks. I've always wanted a 1911 but could never justify the price point for a nice one. Had a good year this year and decided it was finally time. I'm very satisfied w/ the DW; for a production gun, its quality is top-notch.

      biggest gripe about sig 1911s is that they do not fit standard 1911 holsters and Hilton Yam ran into some issues w/ extractors during his testing. Then again, he finds issues with everything lesser than Wilsons, it seems.

      All opinions on DAO or DA/SA aside that's personal preference. MecGar mags ARE factory mags and should be go-to mags, especially for the price.
