      A place for steyr rifles

I guess I do have one after all. My Russian Capture K98k was made by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG Steyr in 1943.

You are right. My bad. I thought I saw a full length Steyr M95. I should have known better by the date.

      A place for steyr rifles

I have your rifle's Hungarian cousin. It was built in 1915 and cut down into a Carbine in the late 1930s. The straight pull bolt is really smooth and fun the shoot. I bought several hundred rounds of Nazi marked 8x56r ammo for it about 10 years ago.

S&W m&p 2.0 9mm full size vs subcompact vs compact

Got my fiancee a Performance Center M&P Pro 9 C.O.R.E. a few years ago. I slapped an Apex trigger/Vortex Venom on it and she's been rockin' it ever since. I'm a Walther Fanboy at heart; but, her Pro 9 never fails to impress me.

On my always-wanted-not-yet-pressed-bid list! The Remington 8 has always fascinated me. I just recently started watching the .300 Savage variants of the 8 and 81.

THE CZickness LII....Autumn or Fall? No matter...season is right for a CZ!

Benjamin Franklin was walking out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787, when someone shouted out, “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” To which Franklin supposedly responded, with a rejoinder at once witty and ominous: “A republic, if you can keep...

What gun are you fond of that you may or may not own?

Guns I am fond of that I own? Any of the half dozen S&W wheel guns that I inherited from my Dad including his two duty pistols. Guns I am fond of that I don't own? A BYF P08 Luger and a Marlin 1894 in .41 Magnum which are both really salty, price wise these days.

      Wishlists for manufacturers.

I wish Henry would make their Big Boy Steel Side Gate in .41 Magnum!

Let's See Those M1 Battle Rifles

I've got one of the HRAs that came with a LMR barrel. It was my first trip the the CMP South Store back in '11. They had a two racks of what looked like brand new HRA rifles that were rumored to have had their stocks scavenged before being returned by Greece. The CMP put them in those...

      Windham Weaponry is closing

I'm a big fan. I studied long and hard before buying my first and only AR. I landed on the VEX .223 for a number of reasons including the history of the company. It is one of the finest firearms I've ever owned. I'd love to have one of their CDI .308s.
