Saturday April 14 is the date. I talked to the promoter yesterday and she told me that all tables have been sold for this show.
Its not the biggest show, but it is a show were I rarely don't find something I can't live without.
I boiled my last batch on Saturday. Much darker product than my earlier cooks. The flavor is much more bold than the first couple of batches. I learned a lot in this my first season of syrup making and I’m looking forward to increasing my output next spring.
Spring Mill State Park near Bedford would be a perfect place to set up down there. Lots of hiking in the park, a restored historic village (grist mill is under repair this year) and some caves to explore.
Several other cave attractions are in the area also. We have visited Marengo (45 minutes)...
I had an early TP9sa. It had the best trigger I ever experienced on a polymer frame pistol. I am normally not too impressed by tactical Tupperware, but I was very impressed with the quality, accuracy and reliability of the pistol. I would recommend Canik to anyone looking for a pistol in that...
Marengo is very nice and my wife and I did both walking tours in the same day. She has some minor mobility problems and she had no issues there. Blue Springs Cave is a much younger cavern and it is a boat tour. The tour isn’t very long but we both enjoyed it.
He called it. Production was doubled between last weekend and this weekend.
This is my first year collecting sap and making syrup. I’m already searching for more trees to tap for next season. I have a good mentor in three50seven and I’m looking forward to expanding in 2025.
Purchased today at the Tipton Gun Show.
S&W Model 29-10 and a two cavity Lee 44 wadcutter bullet mould.
I’m not pleased with the appearance of the laminated grips and their pressed checkering but I have to admit they fit me better and seem more comfortable than the older N-frame target grips...
Sold two gus and bought one gun. Also picked up a bullet mould I'd been searching for as well as a holster for a Browning HP.
I thought the number of vendors was down slightly and attendance was lower than what I'm used to seeing on a Saturday morning. Overall it was a typical Tipton show and...
Brice has himself a pretty nice shop out there. He is a bit off the beaten path but is well worth the drive. I have bought a couple guns from him and he has also done one transfer for me.
I would quote a price on transfers, but I honestly don’t remember what he charged and I don’t want to post...
I haven’t seen them open when I drive past there for some time. Honestly, I’m surprised they lasted as long as they did after the original owner sold the place.
If you're in Cleveland, you will do yourself a great disservice if you don't get a gyro at Steve's Gyros located in the West Side Market and lunch or dinner at the Flat Iron Cafe.
For an auto it’s the Colt Commander. Blue steel and Sambar stag grips. Honorable mention goes to the P08 Luger.
The prettiest revolver in my eyes is a Colt Single Action Army with a color case hardened frame, blue barrel and cylinder with ivory stocks. A very close runner up is the S&W...
