      AK noob

Lancaster Lancaster makes some really nice rifles, and I love their furniture, but I would never place an order with the factory as I have heard too many horror stories on their terrible customer service, and crazy wait times even before that was the industry norm.

      AK noob

Arsenal Arsenal is my personal fav, but even the Century arms stuff is ok so long as you pick it out in person, make sure the sights are straight, and dont order online sight unseen. I have 2 wasrs, and a arsenal sgl20-41, and the arsenal is heirloom quality, but even the wasrs will last 2 or...

47% of American Families pay ZERO federal income taxes

I would like to comment on this subject, but doing so would probably get me banned from this sight, as I feel very strongly on this issue, and what I would like to say could possibly violate the rule on inciting civil war.

      What was your first Handgun?

A pos little raven arms 25, that would jam at least twice every clip. Traded a case of beer for it on a camping trip, when I was about 15. ( I would have shared the beer anyway)

      Gander Mountain

Purchased a .38 S&W from them back when they had their "grand opening" in Greenwood. Wasnt too bad of a deal, but only because of their opening day sale. I used their gunsmith 1 time, I think his name was Lee, I was satisfied.

      What was your first shotgun?

A winchester 1300 defender 12g, with wood furniture. Its about 25 years old, beaten to all hell, and still the first thing I reach for when something goes bump in the night!

      Rookie needs advice

You cant go wrong with KA-BAR, I dont use double edged, but I am pretty sure they make them, and I could not be more impressed with their quality. At a price range of about $50-$75, they are well worth it, and will most likely still be usefull enough to pass on to your children, along with...

      What was your first rifle?

A 30-30 lever action Ted Williams model with the Sears & Robuck stamp.

Family Sues Police After Arrest of 14-Year-Old With Fake Gun

It was bad enough having real guns demonized, now even toy guns are being targeted. These are sad times we live in.

      Ammo or precious metals?

I am a firm beliver you should have both. Guns/ammo and food first, then start with the silver. It is impossible to forsee everything you will need, wich is where silver comes in imo. Plus unless you plan on getting services like medical care at the barrel of a gun you will need silver/gold.

how is cheaper than dirts shipping?

Yeah ctd has fast shipping, but you can almost always find a lower price somewhere else. I stopped buying from CTD, and sportsman guide because of a visit from DHS because I ordered more ammo than they liked.
