      Wondering if trimming ,38 cases would be ok to make up some 38 sw reloads for grandpas 3rd gen iver Johnson top break revolver. I know they'll be a bit smaller diameter, (until fired) but it's close. Will use trail boss, nothing hot.

      So , I heard of this guy has a homemade 20 ga 2 shot thing with threaded chambers at both ends, spring loader firing mechanisms at each end, Appears functional, looks to be really illegal to me- guessing I'm right/ what say ingo?

      Why not neck size lever action calibers

      Most manuals I've seen say that neck sizing only is fine for bolt actions or single shots, but not for s/autos or levers- can see the logic for semi autos, the cases can get a bit beat up- wonder why full length resize would be needed in a lever action- (30-30 in my case) Any logical reason for...

      Removing alox/ JPW to powder coat

      I have a bunch of lubed 30 cal cast bullets, want to try powder coating- have access to laquer thinner, xylene and acetone at work; wondering what would work best- any ideas?

      Why no leading in rimfires?

      Thinking to start powder coating my cast boolits, but it occurs to me 22lr is often plain lead,( lightly lubed/waxed) and nobody worries about it. I mostly load midrange 38/357 cast, sometimes 30/30 low velocity 800-1000 fps cast w/ alox- JPW lube. Any need to worry about getting fancier?

      Have heard trail boss works in black powder cartridge guns, produces similar pressures, etc. why not in a modern muzzle loading rifle, except that smokeless was always a no - no in pre trail boss days?

      Can DNR officers stop any boater they want and check for violations, breathalyzer tests, etc,at will? Or do they need "probable cause"?

      The story I saw didn't detail the caliber(s) or actual amount of ammo involved, just that it was stored at Cater Lake NP. Makes ya wonder, doesn't it.

      Microwave- loud 60cycle hum, doesn't heat stuff

      whirlpool range hood type- worked fine at noon today, 1/2 hr later it's 4 times as loud; fan, turntable etc all fine- just really loud and no heat- anybody familiar with these? It's bolted to a brick wall, that's what's holding me back from just replacing it- was a pain to install
