I haven't but just looked.... loving the ambi holster body and the price. I have seen a good deal of Kydex holsters for $100+ and can not see spending it on something I will use less than once a week.
Thanks!
I'm looking for a cheap but decent IWB and OWB belt holster for a Glock 17 Gen 5 w/ a Surefire X300 and Trijicon RMR.
Oh.... and I'm left handed.
I do not plan on heavy use. I ordered a Safariland 6365RDS for duty use and have a Glock 19 I EDC.
These holsters would be for side jobs...
Benchmade Bali-Song ID help... (44S?)
I am in the process of selling some of my guns and knives. I came across this older Benchmade bali and I cannot seem to figure out what model it is or what it's worth. Can anyone help me determine one or the other?
The overall length open is about 9...
I carry a S&W in my support side cargo pocket for my back up. In a CQB, a semi auto is likely to malfunction when cycling. A wheel gun, especially with an internal hammer really reduces the chance of malfunction.
When new officers ask me where and what to carry, I recommend wheel gun support...
I have requested the department send me to basic SWAT school and the FBI Firearms Instructor Program.
I have taken levels 1 through 3 of the Strike Tactical CQB courses. I try and take a little from everywhere I can.
I would love to get some quality training outside of the LE scope. IMHO...
I am an Illinois LEO (transplant from NWI), and am the lead firearms instructor for my agency. I enjoy teaching. However, there is only so much I can do with my agency.
I would like to branch out and attempt instructing on my own. However, I have no clue where to start. I am looking for an...
So, I found out Kimber makes a Pro CDP. It doesn't have the Series II safety. Found one on Gunbroker for $919. I'll post pics once I get her!
Only thing that did not meet my criteria was the frame. I suppose at the end of the day, it will be lighter and hopefully more comfortable to carry.
I've narrowed it down to the R1 or a Kimber Pro CDP II. I am not a fan of the aluminum frame or the Swartz Safety but, there's something about the Pro CDP II. I had an Ultra CPD II and I eventually sold it. It was comfortable to carry but, I had some reliability issues with the three inch...
That's a good lookin pistol! Love the front strap treatment and the bobbed mainspring / frame. 80 series and the external extractor scare me. I never really understood why Sig and S&W went that route.
But, that's definitely an option. Keep going back and looking at it... may have to take a...
I've heard good things about the Ruger SR1911. I'm considering it but hesitant because I'm not too big of a fan. Their newer firearms really haven't impressed me, other than the LCR line. I have to agree the price point leaves me plenty of room for checkering, a good IWB holster and possibly...
Yeah, 4.25 is OK. I have a Springfield Trophy Match I installed a fixed rear sight on, worked the internals and had Cerakoted, I use for EDC. It's just a little too long from IWB carry. I'm looking for something comparable to that. I've been waiting for what seems like forever for a Wiley...
Hey, I hope you guys and girls can help me out. I am looking to buy a 4 inch 1911 for under $1000. It has to have a Series 70 firing system, a steel frame and a checkered front strap, preferably 20lpi.
I am a fan of the Kimber Super Carry Pro HD, the Colt Wiley Clapp SS Commander and the Dan...
