OSUT#245 - May spring be upon us....time for some sunny days!

Texas Hill Country, San Saba. We have a family place there and can usually keep the pigs at bay but I haven’t been there in a few months. Any absence and they start piling up.

OSUT#245 - May spring be upon us....time for some sunny days!

They are relentless. Been getting up in my bow stand with a M&P 22 AR and going after multiples.

NAACP Issues Travel Advisory for Florida

Gold. Just shows how out of touch they really are.

      re-holstering after firing?

Lefty here also and I use my off hand to hold the holster in place and use my index finger to clear any obstructions like the strap.

What caliber would you carry in black bear country

My vote would be for a 10mm 1911. When you run out of rounds, it’ll also make a good club.

What would you start with..... Brit moved to the US!

I’d start off with a plinker for practice. Something like a Walther P22. That will get you a good feel for the controls. Then move up to bigger and better from there.
