      I've owned many Swampfoxes and many Holosuns. Still prefer the Holosun for carry, solar cell backup is great and also improves it's auto adjust. Swampfox is cheaper and not as feature rich, so still a great starter. However, $200 optics will only do $200 things, that's why Holosun wins out...

      Phlster Floodlight is one I hear about a lot. T1C definitely has that combo, and they've been the flattest fitting holsters in my IWB experience. Eclipse Holsters are ok, but if you want to support a 2A group currently fighting their ultra-lib oppressors they regularly donate to the VCDL.

      125 grain plated .38 Special

      I've only done Unique once with some gray beard teaching me how to load, we did 4.7grs but that was for a 140gr bullet. I do 4.3grs of Titegroup for copper plated 125grs, and I will say do not reduce anything listed on the Hodgdon Data listed online. I had to pound a squib out of an old Model 10.

      The only Crossbreed I ever owned was a OWB. I use to have a Sig made 1911, I think the Crossbreed OWB were a little more forgiving to accommodate the different slide dimensions of the Sigs without losing retention.

      For leather I used Sam Andrews Leather. For kydex I usually just do a T1C without a wing, I use to use a Raven Concealment Eidolon that way too.

      Issues with CFE pistol powder dropping inconsistently?

      Excuse me while I go clean off my powder measure. I have heard of the shape of extruded tube powder being an issue, but never experienced it. I've never had issue with CFE, but I did run into an undercharge for Titegroup once while first starting .38Spl.

      I've been pretty happy with them so far. I just ordered some more of my go-to primers to stock up on. They always have the Bosnian Ginex, and recently has been stocking this Indonesian Exakt brand (which I think is re-branded Russian stuff to avoid import bans) which have previously worked ok.
