The 40 S&W is just a shortened 10mm casing with same bullet diameter, and can be fired out of a stock 29 with no conversion. That being said, the 357 Sig is just a necked down 40 S&W. So if the 29 mag can hold and cycle the 40 S&W, it can hold the 357 Sig. Just need the barrel to get it done.
