      Is 22 mag the dumbest round going? ?

      I keep chickens, therefore I have predators. I use it for coon, possum, fox, and the occasional ultra-brave squirrel (going for feed). They hit harder and are more accurate past 100yds than 22LR.. Fun too, but not as fun as my .308s!

      Best primer for a light hammer?

      I had issues with CCI in my Dan Wesson. I switched to Winchesters for everything, and have had zero problems. Never any problems when I had to use Federal, but they dried up in my area. Winchesters it is. I still keep CCIs around for my 1911s though.

      I carry with a round in all six of my chambers. :-) But carrying an auto on an empty chamber? Sounds like a recipe for a prolonged fistfight and a struggle to determine who really owns the gun.

      I carry a 1911 or a revolver IWB with a button-up shirt half-buttoned over it. Nobody ever says anything, so it must be working! I have long hair, long beard, tattoos and don't need any more attention than I already get.....

      Priming Question

      That's exactly how I do it. I store uncleaned, unprimed, unsized brass until I have enough to run a decent batch. Then I deprime/resize and clean it. Then it gets reprimed and stored until I'm ready to do a loading batch. This also gives me time to sort by headstamp. For some of my calibers...
