      Carbon vs Stainless

      Some of the newer stainless steels are excellent and easy to sharpen. AEB-l. Nitro-V. Those are both excellent options at a great price point.

      I think they are very easy to sharpen on a stone. They have only one bevel. You find that bevel on the stone and swipe away. So you keep that one bevel. I see a lot of people sharpening them at to high and angle giving them a “secondary bevel”

      How much do you spend on an EDC

      I like hand made in America fixed blades. For a quality knife and sheath that checks that box it seems to be in the $250-300 range nowadays.
