      What is the most reliable handgun for Self Defense under $400

      Here's a thought; consider the vast number of reliable, affordable handuns out there today that you can afford to buy, easily carry, know that it will work when needed. Remember when a new 1911, frequently needed more than the purchase price just to get it running?

      I think I'd find someone in the NMLRA to check it out for you. Likely O.K., but since you may not know who, or where manufactured, I'd be concerned about the strength of the barrel.

      O.K., don't buy a muzzle loading revolver,.......buy two...EMF, Cabella's, et al, have them at good prices, and with two , you won't have to reload as frequently. (and then there's the whole, "little paperwork" thingy). Have a blast ........(sorry)..... Ralph

      Wheel lock vs. Match lock muzzle loader for hunting

      As I remember, looking at Grand Dad's collection (he had an original "lock" for a wheellock). Quite a complex item, but fairly reliable for it's time. As I understand, a chain is wound against a spring, locked, then "fired" by the trigger, rotating a friction wheel against a flint, showering...

      Hadn't thought of it that way (if one could really know). Trump has baggage, but knows how to run things (did anyone else get the NATO countries to pay the agreed amounts in restitution since WW II?....just sayin'........)

      CVA used to be pretty good. EMF is frequently below market, and can send to you direct. Saw them at an NRA national show some years back....coming to Indy again next year?? They would sell to you at show, but had to ship to you at home or office. Could not deliver any firearms at the show...

      For the wheelgun gurus out there

      I think the 10 mm is pretty close to the 41 mag. in power and recoil; not sure about case capacity, I'm told that it's pretty stout.....might be able to load to near .45 Colt capacity..maybe a goodly nurdle of Unique (Alliant), HS-6, etc. As you're no doubt aware, watch for high pressure signs.

      Agreed! I do support the whole "Constitutional Carry" concept, constitutionally, but not tactically. I have no problem with the idea; I just think that, tactically, I want my concealed weapon to be....concealed.

      From what we understand, the so called vaccines are deadly poison. Changing DNA-RNA in all body cells; defeats natural ability to fight off infections. I suspect that the plaintiff's bar will eventually make huge and legitimate profits on this...."let's go Brandon".......
