      22LR Target rifles

I dont think that I've ever held a MKII Government Model before, Mine is the short fat barrel 5.5" I believe. With the Cadet kit I thought they fit both of the Pre B's and the B pistols. I will dig it out and read the book. I bought that one with 2 75's at my cousins store during their yearly...

R.I.P Boy Scouts of America 1910-2024

Are there any Baydon Powell Scout Troops around Indiana? About 10 years or so ago a Troop from south of Kokomo came to Elwood CC and tried to get the Board and Trustees to let them use the archery range a few weekends a year to practice archery and camp for the weekends. They offered to bring...

Social Security And Medicare Insolvency Questions…

There are some places you can move to that its not a problem to keep getting you SS check when you retire. Other places you have to return to the US I though every 6 months. Its on the SS website. I'm a born here citizen, Paid into it for 52 years. I should receive my SS no matter where I'm...

      Is this safe?

If you look at the bottom of the neck of this brass, you will see a donut that goes around the bottom of the neck. This will hold the brass in the back of the chamber when fireforming the brass to that chamber. I tend to fire form with normal loads to get a crisp shoulder. Load up a few of...

      Is this safe?

Me, not for me. I would fireform 50 cases to that chamber and shoot it. Did the rounds you shot, feel like good rounds? And remember thats me, you do what you feel comfortable with.

      Is this safe?

7MM or 8MM Mauser? You can cheat in a few ways to get brass to fire form in that chamber. Like place a few layers of tape in 1/4" square on the shoulder and when fired it will form except where the tape is. Then resize just to bump the shoulder a few thou and form or shoot them again and those...

      .50 bmg rifle blues

When comparing things like 277 to 50 BMG, Lets not forget that one of those rounds uses, what, 4 to 5 times the amount of propellant than the other. Myself, I would rather have a regular 277 cut loose on me over a 50 BMG cutting loose on me.

      22LR Target rifles

We've never had a Browning 22 auto before, I bought my boys Browning grade 2 BL22's. Polished blue with the simple engraving on the receiver sides. It might be roll engraving??

      22LR Target rifles

I also have a factory Ace pistol, and I agree, they are not 41's by any means. I have a bull MKII that I bought from Montgomery Wards as my first new handgun as a young man. Loads of people have used it to learn how to shoot over those years. I have never though of seeing how accurate it could...

This needs to be shut down

I didn't early vote like I wanted to. Since my local place was closed and yesterday if I wanted to early vote I would have had to drive to Andersons courthouse. You get scanned when entering the courthouse to do anything, just to pay your property taxes, vote, go and talk to the property tax...
